I am Fluff
I am Fluff but mom and dad call me all kinds of different names. Like Fluffers, Fluffy, Fluffellufagus, Flufferoos. Haha, they are funny and they love me. I came to live with mom and dad when someone dropped me off on their bridge. I was just a puppy and really scared. I didn’t know what to do or where to go and I saw a couple of other dogs in the yard and some cats running around so I decided to just sit on their bridge until they came out to get me. Dad thought I was their oldest dog, Scotty because he didn’t have his glasses on when he looked out the window. He woke mom up and asked where Scotty was and then noticed Scotty was laying right beside mom on the bed. So he decided to go outside to see who I was and he brought me in the house. Mom was all happy to see me. She was giving me hugs and kisses and checking to make sure I wasn’t hurt. I loved them as soon as I saw them. At the time they really didn’t want anymore dogs so they gave me to grandma, dad’s mom. Dad knew his mom wanted a dog for a companion so I went to stay with her for a little bit. Grandma and me hit it off right away. She let me sleep with her and she fed me special treats when I was good. Mom and dad already trained me to go to the potty outside so grandma didn’t have to worry about that. I loved grandma and miss her very much but when she comes to visit mom and dad, I get to see her and I jump all over her with kisses all over her face.
See, grandma fell down one night and broke her arm. She couldn’t take care of me with a broken arm so mom and dad brought me back home and I have been here ever since. I am now 6 years old and was only a couple of months old when I found mom and dad. I have had babies because mom and dad couldn’t afford to get me spayed and didn’t know that the Humane Society would help them pay for it. I had 4 litters of pups before I was able to get spayed. Mom and dad felt really bad for me and when I got pregnant the 4th time they were worried I was going to die. I am grateful I didn’t and so is mom and dad. My last litter of babies was a bunch. I had 10 of them! Poor mom didn’t get much sleep when I had all of my babies because my babies would wake her up crying in the middle of the night. Mom would have to gently coax me to feed them because the little suckers hurt my poor nipples when they started getting teeth. The humane society helped mom and dad find my babies homes. Mom and dad did keep two of them, one out of my first litter and one out of my last litter. My other grandma, mom’s mom, kept one out of my 4th litter. My oldest baby, the one mom and dad kept out of the first litter died back in January of this year. She was really sick and mom and dad couldn’t get her to the doggie doctor in time. I miss her very much but I know she has crossed the rainbow bridge and I will see her again one day. My youngest baby is still here with us. We still like to play together. Boy she looks like her dad more than she looks like me. Her daddy is Jasper. Jasper is the daddy of 3 of my litters.
Anyway, I am just very happy mom and dad were able to get me spayed. As much as I loved my babies, I’m too old and worn out for anymore. Boy I gained some weight since I got spayed though. Now I wobble around, hehehe. Mom calls me fat girl sometimes and I don’t mind because I know she is just teasing me.
Well enough about me. I will post again when mom the rest of my brothers and sisters and daughter is done posting. Mom wants to give us all a chance to inroduce ourselves once before she lets us post again. Next time I post, I will tell you about my mischief I get into sometimes, hehehe.
Love,
Fluff
Well that is an introduction from my dog Fluff. Here is a picture of her. This picture was when she was skinny and she had just had a litter of puppies. Next introduction will be from my youngest girl, Sammy who is also Fluff’s youngest pup.
